My personal ethics are based on what I feel is morally correct, or the right thing to do. They are based of several values, Loyalty, Duty, Respect Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. Loyalty means that I will stay loyal to my friends, family, colleagues and other obligations. Duty represents my requirement to fulfill all of my obligations and to accept responsibility for my own actions. Next is respect, which for me is treating someone how you would like to be treated, you will never have to earn my respect, unless you first lose it from me. Selfless service represents putting someone else before yourself, no man left behind, helping someone in need. Honor is living up to all of my personal values. Integrity is doing what is right legally and morally, even when someone isn’t looking or watching. Lastly I have personal courage, which to me means our ability to face fear, danger, or adversity, both physical and moral courage.
